DARK BANNER 1

On August 14th, 2003, New York City went… DARK

Produced by legendary horror director/producer Joe Dante and written by GUT writer/director Elias, DARK (currently raising funds on the crowdsourcing site Kickstarter) is a new feature thriller directed by Nick Basile, who has produced and directed a series of independent films including Festival Award winners Slasher FlickBeyond Dreams and The Man Who Knew Belle Starr. Basile most recently directed the feature documentary American Carny: True Tales from the Circus Sideshow (in wide release throughout the US and Canada) which the Film Institute of Lincoln Center named among its prestigious Top 10 Documentaries of the Year.

“I’ve always been attracted to projects by young filmmakers who are trying to do something within their means,” says Dante, “DARK has been conceived in this manner and has the opportunity to be a very suspenseful and commercial picture.”
