My prayers to the horror gods have been answered. TRUE BLOOD, a show that’s just been getting worse and worse with every season is finally facing the true death. Just when you think it couldn’t get more ridiculous, they find a way. If anything, that’s been the true success of of the show…that and the massive following of rabid fans who, on the one hand, are willing to look past all of the insanity for the rare good bits (myself included in that lot), and those who love the show no matter how insane it gets (or perhaps because of it). I was a big fan when the show began, poor Southern accents aside, but then the show began to spiral out of control. Well, good news for me and bad news for the legions of followers and fans: THE NEXT SEASON, SEASON 7 OF TRUE BLOOD WILL BE ITS LAST!

So if you’re itchin’ now that TRUE BLOOD is over for the season, here’s a little something to ease the pain…

VIDEO: TWO CLIPS FROM TRUE BLOOD EPISODE 5.11 – SUNSET

Only 2 episodes left of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD. In the meantime, check out a two clips for the upcoming episode, SUNSET, below.

VIDEO: TWO CLIPS FROM TRUE BLOOD EPISODE 5.10 – GONE, GONE, GONE

As we near the end of season 5 of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD, things are starting to heat up, literally, as True Blood factories all over the world are being blown up by the Authority who are now a cultist religious organization that believes vampires should rule over human like cattle…and they’re forcing “mainstreamers” to feed on humans as the world’s supply of True Blood begins to run out. It’s turning into an all out Vampire vs. Human war and I’m diggin’ it, which is surprising given I haven’t been very impressed with most of the season. Check out three clips below for the next episode: GONE, GONE, GONE.

Episode #58 (5.10): Gone, Gone, Gone”:
Airdate: Sunday August 12th, 2012

With vampire-on-human attacks increasing, the Authority attempts to woo public favor. Meanwhile Nora (Lucy Griffiths) tries to convert Eric to Lilith’s gospel. Jason finds a mysterious scroll; Elijah (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), the new vampire sheriff of Area 5, pushes Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) to obey a new mandate; Sam (Sam Trammell) and Luna (Janina Gavankar) search for Emma (Chloe Noelle); Russell (Denis O’Hare) seeks a higher calling. Written by Alexander Woo; directed by Scott Winant.
