Just spotted the new Halloween 2 HI-RES Trailer over at Fangoria. Check it out. I don’t know. I’ll check the flick out, but I don’t have high hopes. Can’t be worse than the first Rob Zombie Halloween outing, and, in fact, looks a bit more interesting.
Below is the new One Sheet/Poster from Rob Zombie’s upcoming Halloween 2, or, the shitty title, H2. There’s also a new pic from the film that makes no sense whatsoever, but actually appears to be the only photo from the film so far that intrigues me whatsoever. Some guy with a rotted pumpkin on his head. The Lord Of Halloween? Satan? Michael improvising when his mask gets fucked up? We’ll find out when the flick hits theaters this August:
A new poster (one sheet) has hit the internet showcasing the August 28th release date of the upcoming 3-D Final Destination flick, pitting it against Rob Zombie’s new H2. I wonder how well these two will do against each other. My money’s on H2, though both flicks are probably gonna blow. Check out the poster below:
Here’s a look at the new H2 TV Spot promoting Rob Zombie’s upcoming “Extreme Vision Of Terrifying” Shitfest. I love the man’s musical career (up until Sinister Urge), and I even like House of 1000 Corpses and was blown away by The Devil’s Rejects, but come ON man, leave Halloween alone!
For those of you who are anticipating the film, however, here’s a clearer look at the new TV Promo spot:
According to the boils and ghouls over at Fangoria, the Creature Feature Host “UNCLE SEYMOUR COFFINS” for Rob Zombie’s upcoming H2 will be played by an actor better known to commercial viewers as the Geico caveman Jeff Daniel Phillips. Check the link above for more info. and a side by side comparison. I’d show you myself, but I’m having some image loading difficulties, so eat it!
Came across this over at Shock Till You Drop. Niiiiiiice poster. Music ain’t bad either. Check it out:
This summer’s horror sequel Halloween 2 is going to feature the rockin’ tunes of Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures, a fictional band created solely for the film. You can listen to them here. Today, writer-director Rob Zombie posted some promo art pimping them out.
Ok, I’ve come across quite a bit of news over the past few days for the upcoming Halloween (remake) sequel from Rob Zombie.
First up, apparently WIERD AL IS GOING TO BE IN HALLOWEEN 2!? Is he going to be playing himself? Crazy. Apparently, he’s on some talk show with Dr. Loomis as Loomis is hawkin’ his new book about Michael Meyers (seems like Loomis is milkin’ that Meyers kid for all he can get). Check out the still below:
Below is an image of Meyers apparently all fucked up. Fire, as in the original Halloween 2 you think? Check it out:
Interesting as I’ve heard Michael isn’t even wearing the iconic mask throughout much of the film. Something like 75% of the film we see Meyers sans-mask according to my sources. We’ll see. Explains Tyler Mane’s huge-ass beard somewhat. Michael Meyers…Wild Man/Biker/Heavy Metal Frontman?
And finally, from Dread Central, some video interviews you may find interesting:
Ok, so a video has been posted to the mighty internets featuring Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures. Here’s the shpiel from Shock Till You Drop:
Writer-director Rob Zombie is obviously having a blast exploring his vision of Haddonfield in the upcoming H2 (the Halloween sequel).
Two elements he appears particularly proud of is the TV personality Uncle Coffins (check out a TV spot that whips up a certain level of nostalgia for those who remember horror hosts) and the band Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures. Based on past blog postings from Zombie, this band will play at a Haddonfield Halloween party that is a big part of the film. This weekend, the first Night Creatures video was posted to MySpace. Give is a spin below.
In real life Jesse Dayton – of The Devil’s Rejects’ Banjo & Sullivan – is the band’s frontman.
