Backwoods Horror

The first brand spankin’ new still has been released for the upcoming horror movie The Hills Run Red (Thanks To Shock Till You Drop) which I first reported on here.  Take a look.  The baddy just looks goddamn creepy.  Can’t wait to get a better look!  Keep checking back with Backwoods Horror for more news!

Directed by Dave Parker and also starring Tad Hilgenbrink and William Sadler, Hills follows a film fanatic whose obsession with finding a complete print of an infamous slasher movie leads him and two friends into the backwoods where the film was shot. They realize too late that filming never ended—and now they must survive a nightmarish onslaught or become part of the movie forever.

The trailer for Dark Castle’s new THE HILLS RUN RED is supposed to be debuting at SDCC today.  The movie was co-written by David J. Schow (Leatherface: TCM 3, The Crow) and is “in the vein of horror classics from the 1970s and 80s, Dark Castle’s The Hills Run Red follows Tyler, a film fanatic whose obsession with finding a complete print of an infamous slasher movie leads him and two friends into the backwoods where the film was shot.
