Zombie’s started up on Halloween 2 (or, H2), shooting in Atlanta, GA. The guy’s uploaded a bit of info. on his Myspace site. Here’s what he has to say:
“Although we sort of started on Friday with a couple scenes. I’ll update with a few exclusive pics from the set on Tuesday. Wish us luck, it’s going to be crazy.”

Ok, let me preface this by saying that I, at one time, was a huge fan of Rob Zombie. White Zombie is still one of my all-time favourite bands…EVER (there are two number one slots, WZ and Creedence Clearwater Revival), but he’s just been letting me down lately. Three reasons, Educated Horses (shittiest metal album from Zombie ever), the Halloween Remake, and Halloween Remake 2 (though it hasn’t come out).
So let’s talk about the last reason, Variety dropped the bomb that RZ’s going to be directing and writing Halloween 2 (which they can’t actually title it unless they want legal issues with Paramount). Ok, so yeah, it’s not fair to give the Halloween Remake Sequel (for now being titled only H2…stupid) any sort of shit because it hasn’t been made yet, but, I mean, come on, really? First off, he said he had no intention in any way of doing a sequel, so he’s gone back on that, something to do with an assload of cash no doubt, Tyler Mane is going to be back as the man behind the mask, no surprise there. I sort of hope they don’t bring back Scout Taylor Compton, though I think she’s contractually obligated and they’d have to explain that out or just outright ignore it, but she just thouroughly was a big pile of shittastic in the first flick. Horrible actress…horrible.
RZ’s mentioned in his blog a bit about it in that he’s not going to do a full-on remake of the original part 2, so, I wonder what he’s going to do. I dunno, I don’t have much else to say about it at this point but I predict it’s going to suck. A little while back, I wrote about the 3-Disc Unrated edition of Rob Zombie’s Shiny Shitfest (Halloween Remake), was going to be released on October 7th (October 21st for Blu-Ray). Well, the boys over at Fango got their hands on the cover art. I know, I know, who gives a shit, right, but it’s a slow day and I figured since I already wrote about it once, I might as well keep up on the updates. Like I said before, it’s the nearly 5-hour making-of documentary I’m interested in, if nothing more than watching what it was like to shoot the thing, as I’m an aspiring filmmaker myself.
