PREVIEW: DEXTER SEASON SEVEN, EPISODE 5

Season seven of DEXTER has been one of the better seasons in a long time, with Deb knowing what he does and struggling to accept it, and him. In addition to that, not only is a single serial killer after Dex, but an entire criminal organization. This season just keeps getting better and better and we here at Backwoods Horror have a preview along with a pair of clips for next Sunday, October 28th’s episode: Swim Deep.

Showtime has released a 4-minute long featurette that goes behind-the-scenes of DEXTER Season 7, which premieres September 30.

SYNOPSIS FOR EPISODE 7.01: “Are You….?”

After witnessing her brother kill Travis Marshall, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) attempts to reconcile with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) while struggling to cover up their involvement with the murder. Meanwhile, Detective Mike Anderson has an unfortunate run-in, Quinn and Batista begin to make amends, and LaGuerta finds evidence that causes her to re-think the closed Bay Harbor Butcher case.

VIDEO: CHECK OUT THE OFFICIAL 2 MINUTE TRAILER FOR DEXTER: SEASON 7

Showtime has released the full 2 minute trailer for the upcoming Seventh Season of DEXTER. Starting September 30th, the show will pick up right where last season ended, with Deb finding Dexter standing over the body of a fresh kill. It looks as though we’re going to have an interesting season this year. A good thing, too, as the last few seasons have been dragging. Yvonne Strahovski, Calista Flockhart, Matt Gerald, Ray Stevenson, Jason Gedrick, and Katia Winter join series regulars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar.
