Over the weekend I happened to catch a showing of the new EVIL DEAD remake (more on that later…I’ve taken to calling it LET’S JUST COVER EVERYTHING IN BLOOD AND GET ON WITH IT) and before the feature, I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse at the new trailer for the CARRIE remake. I’ve gotta tell ya, it’s looking better and better than the original ever hoped to be. Check it out after the break!

NEW VIRAL IMAGE OF THE TORTURE ROOM FROM THE CARRIE REMAKE

Over on the official facebook page for the CARRIE REMAKE, they’ve recently uploaded a viral image of the room Carrie’s mother puts her in to punish her and think about her sins. It comes along with the caption: “Where Margaret put Carrie when she was bad…  No wonder she was angry.”

The remake, directed by Kimberly Peirce, stars Chloe Moretz (Kick Ass, Let Me in), Julianne Moore (Hannibal), Alex Russell (Chronicle), Ansel Elgort, Gabriella Wilde (The Three Musketeers), Judy Greer (The Descendants) and Portia Doubleday (Youth In Revolt) is slated for a March 13, 2013 theatrical release. THE NEW TEASER TRAILER FOR THE CARRIE REMAKE HAS HIT THE WEB!

Screen Gems just recently revealed the international poster and banner for director Kimberly Peirce’s CARRIE at the New York Comic Con. Lucky Con goers were able to check out the trailer at the panel and now, lucky boils ‘n ghouls, we have the first official teaser trailer available for  you below. Check it out after the break.

The remake, directed by Kimberly Peirce, stars Chloe Moretz (Kick Ass, Let Me in), Julianne Moore (Hannibal), Alex Russell (Chronicle), Ansel Elgort, Gabriella Wilde (The Three Musketeers), Judy Greer (The Descendants) and Portia Doubleday (Youth In Revolt) is slated for a March 13, 2013 theatrical release. SYNOPSIS:

The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

BLOOD AND FIRE IN FIRST OFFICIAL STILL FROM CARRIE REMAKE

Last week, we were able to bring you some behind the scenes shots of Chloe Moretz in costume as Carrie from the upcoming CARRIE remake before and after the infamous pig blood scene from the prom. Now, thanks to Chloe Moretz’s Instagram account, we have a still from the film that depicts Chloe as Carrie during that same notorious prom scene covered in pig’s blood and surrounded by fire.
