See Kurtzman’s Big ‘ol Snake

Seems like Robert Kurtzman can’t help himself.  After delivering one of the most horrid pieces of bile ever witnessed on film, last year’s THE RAGE, he’s at it again, this time with David Lynch’s daughter with a giant snake woman thing movie called NAGIN.  I have no idea what that title’s supposed to mean, and I’m absolutely sure, with Kurtzman involved, that the movie is going to be a piece of shit.  He has promised us that he “will present for the very first time an American Werewolf-style Human to Snake transformation utilizing state of the art special make-up and animatronics not seen in earlier incarnations of the Snake Women films.”  Oh wow, I am SO looking forward to that waste of time.  There are, as of this writing, only two things Robert Kurtzman can be proud of.  1. Being the “K” in KNB effects, and 2. writing the original story FROM DUSK TILL DAWN was based upon.  Also, poor choice in the title.  What exactly does Nagin mean, other than the Bollywood movie of 1976?  My official plea to Robert Kurtzman?  Stop making movies, man.  Please.

  1. Ummmmmm…. upon which site are you basing your information?

Everybody else in the world seems to understand that:

1 – Jennifer Lynch is directing, not Kurtzman.
2 – The producer, not Kurtzman, made that remark about the effects.
3 – What does “Nagin” mean? It’s an Indian film made for India. What do they give a shit that you don’t understand?

  2. Hey Tango, thanks for commenting. I was basing my info. off of Bloody Disgusting and they weren’t exactly clear about who was directing and they made it seem like that quote was from Kurtzman. In any case, I guess you’re a Kurtzman fan. If he is indeed just doing the makeup work, then yeah, at least it’ll look impressive. Kurtzman, however, has that Precinct 13 company that’s responsible for really shitty CGI, like the vultures in THE RAGE. I don’t know, I guess that flick just soured me on anything Kurtzman’s attached to. If it ends up being a good flick, well, I’ll just have to eat a big ‘ol piece of humble pie.
Thanks again for commenting, you’re the first.
