HOME SICK Finally Coming To DVD

I saw a trailer for the film Home Sick YEARS ago.  I remember a creepy guy with a suitcase full of razorblades and all kinds of chaos and gore.  It always sort of stuck with me.  “What happened to that Bill Moseley flick where he plays that creepy guy?”  Well, thanks to the boys over at Dread Central and Synapse Films, I know.  It’s been traveling the convention circuit and otherwise stewing in its own juicy horror goodness for SIX YEARS.  But now, It’s finally coming to DVD.  The Director, Adam Wingard, and the Writer/Producer E.L. Katz must be relieved that the long, hard road has come to a point of completion.  Over at Dread Central, E.L. Katz dropped a line to let us all know what we can expect from the upcoming DVD release and I got the following synopsis and specs from Synapse:

Available Aug 26th!

Bill Moseley (Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) stars as a smiling maniac named “Mr. Suitcase”. With a briefcase full of razorblades, he crashes a homecoming get-together for Claire (Lindley Evans) and forces the partygoers to identify people they hate. Soon, a black-hooded supernatural killer is loose killing each person identified by the teens and the terrified friends realize they may also be viciously murdered because Tim (Matt Lero) awkwardly joked that he hated everyone at the party, too! As the corpses pile up and the body parts fly, the kids enlist the help of a crazed chili loving militia man who can give them the weapons they need to stay alive! Also co-stars Cult mega-babe Tiffany Shepis.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

– Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1)
