Writer/Director Scott Derrickson’s (THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE) upcoming film SINISTER has been receiving a lot of buzz around the web over the past few months. Maybe it has something to do with the overall lack of information surrounding the film. Other than a brief synopsis, a few early reviews, and a poster, details surrounding the film have been vague, if any existed at all. Well that all changed at midnight last night as the official trailer for the film finally hit the web. Starring Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, James Ransone, Juliet Rylance, Clare Foley, Michael Hall D’Addario, the SINISTER trailer has us very intrigued.

SYNOPSIS:

SINISTER is a frightening new thriller from the producer of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films and the writer-director of THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE. Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist who discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies that plunge his family into a nightmarish experience of supernatural horror.
