Backwoods Horror

Welcome to the backwoods.  Come on in and sit a spell by the fire.  Within these pages you’ll find horror news (generally pertaining to a backwoods, southern theme), rants and ravings, and eventually some audio and video.  Right now I’m still learning about Wordpress and all its myriad functions so the site doesn’t look like much.  In time it should be the beacon of backwoods horror goodness I want it to be.

My name is Aaron and I’ve been a horror fan for as long as I can remember.  I’m particularly keen on southern horror and movies I’ve come to define as “Dirty South” flicks.  Movies like Slingblade, Black Snake Moan, Deliverance and the like.  I’m a big fan of Deadpit Radio and other horror podcasts so I may create one of my own, perhaps a videocast.  My ultimate goal in life is to make horror movies.  I’m 25 right now, so I better get started.  I’ll be working under the banner of Backwoods Productions.  Now for some pictures.  Everyone likes pictures.  Wooo.
